Fundraise For The CCLC
Help the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC) in making a significant impact on the lives of newcomers in London by hosting your own fundraiser. You can help build a more welcoming and inclusive community that supports newcomers in reaching their full potential. Get your family, friends, and network involved to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
Capital Campaign
Welcome Home, A Safe Place to Dream, is the CCLC’s new affordable housing project for newcomers in London. Join the CCLC and help build a new refugee housing complex that will offer safe, affordable, permanent housing. Together we can build a more welcoming community.
Highest Priority Needs
Your gift will be directed where it’s needed most. With your help, we can support newcomer programs or special projects, purchase new equipment, or meet unexpected expenses.
Refugee Emergency Housing
Help refugees stay safe in their homes. When faced with an emergency or sudden loss of employment, it can be difficult to keep up with monthly rental payments. Your donation will ensure refugees can still have a place to call home during a crisis.
LGBTQ+ Activities and Events
Support social events, education, and awareness activities for CCLC’s LGBTQ+ newcomer programming group.
Josephs’ House Scholarship
Education opens doors to possibilities. Support a scholarship that will help refugees further their education or upgrade their skills for the job market.
Refugee Health
Staying healthy is important. Ensure refugee claimants and other vulnerable newcomers who are experiencing a medical crisis, can access medication, medical devices, and other related expenses.
Transportation
When newcomers are unwell but unable to afford taxi fares for a medical appointment or if they require bus tickets to critical appointments, your support will ensure newcomers don’t miss important appointments.
Sports and Recreation
Keeping newcomers active and connected to their new community is an important step in resettlement. Support sports & recreational activities throughout the year to build newcomers’ mental and physical well-being.
